Kosovo Retail Sector Shows Stronger Consumer Confidence in 2026
Kosovo’s retail industry is reporting stronger performance during the first half of 2026 as consumer confidence continues to improve. Shopping centers in Pristina, Prizren and Ferizaj have recorded higher foot traffic, while small and medium-sized businesses are also benefiting from increased domestic demand.
Business owners say stable inflation levels and improved access to financing have encouraged families to spend more on home goods, electronics and lifestyle services. Seasonal campaigns and digital promotions have also helped retailers reach wider audiences.
Economic analysts note that retail growth remains an important indicator of broader economic momentum, especially as Kosovo continues to modernize its urban centers and attract diaspora spending during peak travel seasons.
